North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University is a public, high research activity, land-grant university committed to exemplary teaching and learning, scholarly and creative research, and effective engagement and public service.
In line with the university mission, the NCAT-ECU Early Assurance Scholars Program was developed through an agreement between NCAT and ECU Brody School of Medicine. This unique program was implemented to increase the number of students at NCAT prepared to enter medical school upon graduation and to increase diversity among North Carolina's health care professionals.
