The First Annual NCAT-ECU EASP Orientation was held on August 19, 2011. Four NCAT graduates (three currently medical students at the ECU Brody School of Medicine) served on a panel to discuss the 'Road to Medical School' and 'How to Successfully Navigate the Medical School Process'. Beginning in Spring 2011, North Carolina A&T State University and East Carolina University Brody School of Medicine will begin selections for the first cohort of NCAT-ECU Early Assurance Program Scholars. Eight talented and exceptional freshman students will be selected to participated in this four year program to preaper them for medical school.
